Christmas is Coming and for once...Charlie ain't getting fat!!!!

Well its that time of year when all the miserable so and so's emerge from under their doom and gloom rocks to moan about Christmas!
Well, not me..... new tree is up and suitably decorated by my daughter Ellie ,old tacky window lights in place and the festive cheer well and truly being spread!!!
Infact a whole new less of me too!!!!.

Been to the doctors this week and although I stopped taking tablets for my diabetes 3 months ago he has officially removed them from my repeat prescription package.
3 month average sugar level has dropped from 10.4 to 7.3 so all systems heading in the right direction.
Just got to get through the Xmas barrier of not much food consumption..going to attempt alcohol next Thursday in Basingstoke with work colleagues,pals,muckers ,chums so beware of any road closures and crane lifts required to get me back out of the gutter the following morning and into work.

Went to "Mr Fat Barsteward" (High & Mighty) shop a couple of weeks ago ,got remeasured for new work shirts.
Collar size now down to respectable 19 inches(was at 22 a couple of years ago) and I can get into "Tall" size shirts...wey hey...no more high and wide "kingsize" size for me..lol


It also appears that whoever I befriend at work leaves...so Sue (South Project M) and Margi (my assistant) are leaving as of next week. Must change that colonge I wear ,it appears to be having averse effects!!!!..lol
In recent weeks I have been to see Jeff Green (comedian) , Paolo Nutini, The Levellers and James Morrison all great entertainment value and worth going to see if you get the chance.

Have booked Badly Drawn Boy,Sugababes,Rod Stewart,The Feeling and Arsenal v West Ham all for the first half of next year so keeping my diary as full as ever on that front!!
Have managed to avoid having to attend McFly at Portsmouth Guildhall again (worst screaming concert ever ,last time) ...Ellie prefers to go with her cousin....... apparently!!..lol
