Well,it'll be two weeks tomorrow since my operation. This week has been less of a success but still moving in the right direction losing another 2.5kg down to 153kgs.

Clothes are feeling loser and my belts all moving up at least one notch. Food intake is about the same but I was told to expect to lose between 1/2 stone to one stone a month only after the first weeks expansive loss so no real suprises.

Still sticking to the diet with no cheating allowed due to the feeling of being full after such small amounts.

On a sad note......

My father despite celebrating his 87th birthday last Sunday has been diagnosed with terminal stomach cancer which has obviously lowered my spirits somewhat. He is at an advanced stage and we have been advised by the doctor he has a lot less than a year to live. Had to tell my mother (77) today which wasn't much fun at all but now priority lies with getting them living their last few months together as comfortable as possible.

Typical,I get to sort my life and weightloss out and now life comes along and kicks me in the teeth ...oh well "C'est la Vie " I say.
