Morning All, It's Saturday and I am sat with my bowl of porridge,Soccer AM on the TV and music blaring.... does life get any better?
Keeping up the exercising with the sit ups etc and although the weightloss has slowed now(yeah,I didn't think it could get slower but it has been) my body is beginning to take a more "society acceptable" shape and moving in and out in the right places after many years of abusing it to its fullest capacity.
Have booked in for a band pumping up session (as that's what you do when the weightloss slows up).... should have really gone before Xmas but decided that was a bad time to deny myself food. All in all it still went well and I managed to lose weight over the festive season and still enjoy most things.
Have attended the DFS sale (always said I wouldn't but age kind of draws you to it) and in a few weeks times hopefully a 3 seater angled sofa and 2 seater will turn up at my door.

Described as "a mix of textures, fabrics, shapes and patterns(sounds like me they are describing) making the Munich angled fabric sofa a real head turner. Shown here in Fudge colour"....I went for the fudge colour as its probably the only fudge I will be allowed right now..lol Wanted to cut and paste a picture in but it just wont let me from their website. You would have thought the free advertising would have been most welcome.
May have overloaded my front room though,as currently I only have two two-seaters. After much deliberating,re-organising of current furniture in my head and measuring(and stubborness of course) I have opted for the angled 3 -seater and a two seater.Gonna look "luvverly" ,well I would say wouldn't I?
Arsenal also going from strength to strength...... even after Wednesdays 2-2 scare against Spurs they are looking quite invincible right now (famous last words with Bolton arriving at the emirates tomorrow for an FA Cup tie)
Oh well must crack on,domestic duties to fulfil before the lovely Eleanor turns up to attend her fathers gaff for the weekend....catch you all later.

Hey buddy,
So where are you at, from start to present day in weight loss terms then? My curiosity stems from taking me exactly 12 months to lose a mere 2st. Somehow I think you have that beat.
I'm also marginally concerned that weight loss is in any way connected with this sudden interest over interior design. If I shed another couple of pounds am I likely to start arranging ornaments in clusters of odd numbers? Lawrence L-B taught me that ages ago but so far I have resisted the tip. Albeit not of my doing we still have symmetrical candle displays and, incidentally, a crap non-fudge-coloured couch.
As a precautionary measure I have been exercising the left-hand side of my brain, which is more logic and sequence centred. The good news is I have shelved all the feng shui books, the bad news is I now have them all categorised by the Dewey Decimal system.
Keep smiling.

I am more intrigued as to which will become the lovely Eleanor's sofa? And will she be banned from sitting on them resplendant in "horsey" aroma?
;-)
